The mum-of-three missed This Morning for a second day in a row today

It sounds like Holly Willoughby is having a really rough time right now.

The 36-year-old presenter is missing from the This Morning sofa for the second day in a row, leaving Phillip Schofield to present alongside Sarah Greene.

A spokesperson tells The Sun: ‘Holly is still unwell. It’s just a sickness bug and today’s show will be hosted by Phillip Schofield and Sarah Greene.’

This isn’t actually the first time that Phil, 55, has worked with Sarah. In fact, they shared the screen on Saturday morning show Going Live! 24 years ago.

And despite missing Holly, it seems viewers are impressed with her replacement. Tweets include: ‘It’s lovely & amazing to see @RealSarahGreene & @Schofe working together again I missed you @RealSarahGreene #ThisMorning,’ and: ‘She needs to be on our screens waaaaay more! Fab lady [sic].’

It was Phil who first announced Holly’s illness yesterday, telling viewers before going on air: ‘Holly’s not very well today so you’ve got about 15 minutes to work out who is going to be beside me at 10.30.’

When the programme began, all was revealed. It was Rylan Clark-Neal who’d taken over hosting duties – despite being in bed with hay fever just over an hour earlier.

Phil joked sarcastically: ‘Holly’s not well today so I’ve been given the most unlikely partner. I can’t wait for this. They said Rylan was coming in and I said I’d do it on my own.’

He also explained that Holly had texted him saying she’d, er, thrown up on the cat. Eeep.
