Holly Willoughby had a bit of a traumatic time on her way to the This Morning studios today.
The 35-year-old revealed on air that she’d helped to save a scooter driver’s life, after he crashed into the car next to the one she was in.
Addressing the camera alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield, Holly explained that she was prepping her script when the frightening altercation occurred.
She said: ‘There was this almighty bang and this guy on this scooter/moped thing hit the car next to us and we just heard this noise.
‘We’ve all stopped, obviously, and I said to the driver: “Is he alright? Can you have a look?” I didn’t want to look at first.
‘Anyway, he looked and then I got up and went round and this poor chap had come off his bike, the bike was on top of him. He had hit a stationary car, I think.
‘There was a chap at the bus stop opposite who came running over – and then the driver of our car lifted the moped off him.
‘I called an ambulance and we sat there with him. He was in complete shock. At first we weren’t sure if he was okay because he was just sitting there, lying completely out.
‘We thought: “Is he alright? Had he broken any bones? Because we couldn’t see anything, because if anyone has an impact like that you just need them to keep still.

‘I rang the ambulance who were there in minutes. They were there very, very quickly. So I hope he is okay.’
Holly then said she didn’t know the man’s name, and put out a plea for anyone who might know him to come forward and let her know if he’s okay.
Let’s hope he hasn’t suffered any serious injuries and is back on his feet soon.
