Phillip Schofield shares an Instagram snap of his co-host after returning back from his holiday… But Holly doesn’t look happy
If you’re a This Morning fan, you’ll know that Phillip Schofield has been off on holiday for the past week, leaving Holly Willoughby to fend for herself (with a little help from stand-in host Ben Shepherd).
So viewers were delight to see the return of Phil this morning, with the host now back on British soil after a trip to South Africa with his family.
To celebrate, Phillip kicked his day off with a shot of the spookily-themed This Morning set, which showed plenty of Halloween decorations in the background, and Holly seated on the sofa in the forefront on her own.
‘I’m back!!! and the studio looks amazing’, Phil captioned the image.
But far from her usual bubbly expression, Holly looked a little downcast as she looked at her phone on her lap. And Instagram users quickly rushed in with concerned comments for the blonde beauty.
‘Is Holly ok?’, one commented. Whilst another wrote: ‘Holly doesn’t look to happy? U ok chick @hollywilloughby’.
However, others simply reasoned that Holly looked ‘deep in thought’ as she tapped away obliviously on her phone.
And soon enough, no one was worrying about Holly’s mood, as her and Phillip later appeared in the most EPIC Halloween costumes.
The pair went all out and dressed up in two Beetlejuice-inspired costumes to celebrate All Hallows Eve, with Holly sporting a puffy red lace prom dress with mesh detail and red satin gloves, topped off with a black wig and seriously scary smokey red eye make-up.

And then came Phil. Raising more than a few laughs, Phillip emerged in one seriously cool striped Beetlejuice suit, complete with neon green frizzy wig and and terrifying black and white face paint.
‘Holly and Phillip look amazing @thismorning #brilliant #fantasticimpressions’, one viewer praised on Twitter.
‘Phillip and holly look so good on @thismorning’, posted another.
And they weren’t the only ones – Rylan Clark-Neal also popped up in a fabulous Roman-inspired costume, whilst Steve Wilson came as Uncle Fester, and Alison Hammond made a seriously good Cleopatra.
Nice effort, guys.
