The Dog Train
If you’ve heard people talking about that ‘dog train’ in America, you’re about to understand why.
80-year-old Eugene Bostick has touched the hearts of every animal lover on the globe with his adorable invention for the pooches in his life.
After spending the past few years rescuing and taking in abandoned dogs, the Texan-born fella decided to make their lives that little bit happier.
‘We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn,’ Bostick told The Dodo. ‘People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.’

Eugene then decided to create a set of boxcars made from old buckets that he fixed to wheels, so that the dogs could enjoy some ‘trips out’ once or twice a week.
One neighbour shared Eugene’s work with the world on Facebook, posting the above photo and writing: ‘This is the coolest guy he rescues stray dogs and every morning he takes them for a train ride by our building, i finally got the courage up to ask if I could take his pic! Love this and had to share!’
And as for the dogs? ‘The dogs have a great time’, Eugene says. ‘They just really enjoy it.’
Thank god for Eugene.
The Rock Just Saved HIs Puppies From Drowning
Talking of dogs, did you see when The Rock recued a puppy from a swimming pool over Labor Day weekend?
The actor shared a photo of him working a wet t-shirt and clutching two pups in his outdoor pool before explaining what went down. Apparently, his two new French bulldog puppies, Brutus and Hobbs, were taken outside to ‘handle their business and potty like big boys’ before things went wrong.

The pups immediately headed for the pool ‘in a full sprint’ and fell in, with poor Brutus sinking ‘head first to the bottom of the pool’. Of course, because he’s The Rock, he dove in immediately to rescue the pooches and bring them to safety.
‘He was a little delirious… Took a moment, threw up all the water he swallowed and looked up at me as if to say, “Thank God you didn’t have to give me mouth to mouth!” and then ran off to play with his brother’, The Rock wrote. Naww.
