Grammys 2013: Jennifer Lopez ‘Didn’t Read Dress Code Memo’

Jennifer Lopez pulled an Angelina Jolie at the Grammys 2013 in LA last night, rocking a VERY daring thigh split dress, despite a strict new dress code calling for more modest outfits.

The 43-year-old singer flashed a toned thigh to the world, aware that she was breaking all the red carpet rules, but told E! News reporter Ryan Seacrest: “I thought I was being such a good girl!”.

J.Lo wore a black silk one shoulder dress by Anthony Vaccarello which appeared like a leotard on one side, with a long train covering her other leg. She scraped her hair back into a tidy top knot and wore black strappy heels with a gold cuff.

Jen said: “They didn’t say anything about legs!”

She’s right, though. The controversial email from CBS last week read: “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic.”

Joking about her dress, Jen added: “So, as you can see, I read the memo.” WHOOPS. Still, she didn’t get any complaints. Rapper Pitbull said: “You look beautiful, you look gorgeous and you inspired the memo.” Ooh!
