It’s the first time the 27-year-old actress has publically opened up about her grief, with Lea revealing to TV Week Australia why the loss of Cory has hit her twice as hard.
”I feel like, for me personally, I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn,” Lea, who’s been seeing wearing her ‘Finn’ necklace close to her heart, admitted about mourning for both her late boyfriend’s on and off-screen personas.
32-year-old Cory died from a lethal mix of champagne and heroin in June, with the Canadian actor being discovered in his hotel room.
”There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together I consider myself very lucky,” she touchingly added.
And it seems being back on the Glee set is actually what’s made coping with life after Cory more bearable for the US star.
”Everyone is asking: ‘Is it hard to do this? Is it hard to be back at work?’, but the truth is it’s no harder at work than it is in life so we might as well all be together as a family supporting each other to get through this together”, she said.
We are so in awe of this lady.
