Gleb Savchenko has made a *surprising* prediction...
Eep. We don’t think Georgia May Foote will like what Strictly Come Dancing‘s Gleb Savchenko has said about her ex Giovanni Pernice.
The 25-year-old actress started dating Giovanni, 26, after they were partnered on last year’s show, but they announced their split in August.
Now Giovanni’s working with TV presenter Laura Whitmore on the new series.
This is where Gleb comes in. On Georgia and Giovanni’s break-up, he’s told Star: ‘I’m not shocked. He’s young and he’s Italian. You know what Italians are like!
‘They were never going to get married, have kids and live happily ever after. I bet you £100 Giovanni will get with Laura this year.
‘Next season, I’ll bet you another £100 he will get with his new partner!’
Um, riiight. Of course, there’s no telling if that’s what will actually happen. We mean, Gleb could’ve just been kidding.
And Laura’s a classy lady! So we imagine she’d think twice before getting involved in a romance with someone’s recent ex.
Not only that, but Laura and Georgia have always seemed on friendly terms. Earlier this month, Georgia sent out the supportive Tweet: ‘Good luck to all the @bbcstrictly 2016 cast and crew on their launch show tonight! Sending all my love! Im sure its going to be incredible ❤ [sic].
‘And i would just like to wish @thewhitmore and @pernicegiovann1 good luck. Please do not believe the crap you read! Shes a beautiful person [sic].’
Around the same time, they enjoyed a girls’ night out with Caroline Flack and Ashley Roberts.
Fans did notice that Georgia took to Twitter to send contestants Daisy Lowe and Melvin Odoom – and not Laura and Giovanni – her best wishes before Saturday’s dances.
She Tweeted: ‘Omg!!! Todays the day my gorgeous friends @daisylowe and @AljazSkorjanec hit the @bbcstrictly dance floor! Love you! And good luck! Xx.
‘And not forgetting @JManrara and @Melvinodoom you guys are hilarious! All the luck in the world guys! ❤.’
But you wouldn’t catch us Tweeting our exes every week, so it’s totally understandable that she chose to leave them out.
You keep doing you, Georgia!
