'How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger'
If we’ve learnt anything this week, it’s to never mess with Gigi Hadid.
The model was filmed angrily elbowing serial prankster Vitalii Sediuk in Milan yesterday, after he grabbed her and picked her up from behind.
And rightly so. Because nobody has the right to invade anyone’s private space like that.
Gigi’s younger sister Bella was there at the time, and she could be seen shouting at Vitalii to put her down.
While the incident was obviously terrifying for Gigi, what happened afterwards was also less-than-pleasant.
After reports of the incident began emerging, the 21-year-old – who’s in Italy for Milan Fashion Week – ended up hitting back at a particular headline.
This read: ‘NOT MODEL BEHAVIOUR: Gigi Hadid aggressively lashes out and ELBOWS fan in the face after he tries to pick her up’.
Clearly infuriated, she Tweeted: ‘To unknown article writer: fan?!!! The ACTUAL fans that were there can tell you what happened. I’m a HUMAN BEING…
‘And had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. He ran quick tho ????.’

YES. You tell ’em, lady. She later explained that it was her hardcore training sessions that helped her defend herself, continuing: ‘Thanked my boxing coach today.
‘GIRLS, prepare yourselves so that, if you ever feel in danger, MUSCLE MEMORY can fight back for you. Thank you all so much for ur support.❤️.’
Actor Ansel Elgort had another question altogether, questioning where Gigi’s boyfriend Zayn Malik was while the episode was going down.
He Tweeted: ‘Where was zayn at?? Not saying she needed anybody but I woulda went buck if sombody grabbed Violetta so it woulda been interesting to see that go down [sic].’
In response, Gigi quipped: ‘That guy should prob take some time away from icing his jaw tonight to count his lucky stars that Z wasn’t there….. ?⚰.’
Crikey. TBH, we think she defended herself just fine.
