So, Gaz Beadle has made some *pretty* shocking claims about the Love Island couples...
It’s easy to assume that reality shows are maybe a teeny tiny bit in competition with each other.
And, it would appear our theory has been pretty much confirmed- and by none other than Gaz Beadle of Geordie Shore.
Yep- it looks like Gaz definitely didn’t join the rest of the nation in worshipping at the alter of all things Love Island.
In fact, the Geordie Shore ‘fella has just shared his opinion of the cult show (can we award it ‘cult TV’ status yet?!) and it’s slightly less than complimentary.
Speaking to The Sun, Gaz has blasted Love Island as being ‘just a carbon copy of Geordie Shore and Ex on the Beach’. Oh, the burn!
And, to add further insult to injury, Gary then added: ‘I know it’s good to watch them all lose the plot and go insane. But ITV know they’ve got to get young good looking people in to have sex, get drunk, argue with each other and fight – and that’s what we’ve been doing on Geordie Shore for five years’.
Oh, and Gaz also went on to allude to the Love Island couples being… (prepare yourself) completely fake.
Yep, we’re not at all happy about this one either. Gaz says: ‘Let [the Love Island couples] do what they want – they’ll only be famous for three months. They all just leave and sh*g each other anyway. I think it’s funny as they actually pretend they’re still together’.

And, for added salt into the Islander wounds, he then added: ‘Tthey’ve got this delusional thought in their head that if they stay together as a couple they’ll do well but they won’t’.
Nope, it’s not just you. We need a lie down in a dark, quiet room too.
Love Island certainly isn’t the only TV show to receive the Gaz-Beadle-critique lately, as the Celebrity Big Brother housemates also came under Gaz’s fire…
In his recent column for The Daily Star, Gaz appeared to blast all the housemates- including his fellow Geordie Shore cast member Marnie Simpson.
Hmmm… perhaps Gaz is trying out a new profession in TV reviews? One can only wonder.
