Fifty Shades Of Grey: Robert Pattinson Not Happy About Being Ruled Out
Fifty Shades Of Grey has had lots of women imagining Robert Pattinson as THEIR Christian Grey, but despite the character being loosely based on Edward Cullen from Twilight, author EL James has said Rob's not in the running for the role.
Rob commented on the news this week, and it seems the actor isn't that happy about it! The Chicago Examiner quotes him as joking:
"I think the author has written me out of it after my Edward Cullen role. I saw some interview earlier, and they went, oh, it could never be [me] in the part. And I was like, 'Hey, I’m going to make you all pay for saying that!'
"It’s funny seeing all these other actors so openly vying for it. I’ve never seen that happen before. It’s so strange. I haven’t really read all of ’50 Shades,’ though… I haven't read the whole thing. I read bits of it, there's a book called ‘Fifty Sheds of Grey’. Have you seen that book? That's amazing, just a picture book of fifty grey sheds, and it's literally on the New York Times Best Seller list. People have got the wrong read…
"I mean, I get that the Christian Grey character is kind of … sort of weird. But I’m used to that … the movie I’m doing next is a real guy … but he’s kind of, well, weird, too."
Well, he might not be in Fifty Shades Of Grey, but we can't wait to see what RPattz does next! BS
