Destiny’s Child performed a mind-blowing set at the Super Bowl last night, reuniting for their first live gig in six years.
Those of you who managed stay awake to see the set would have witnessed the incredible moment that Beyonce welcomed Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams on stage to the roar of an 80,000-strong crowd at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Bey kicked off her half-time set with Love On Top, followed by Crazy In Love, Run The World and one of her classics – Baby Boy.
She danced in a tiny leather corset and knee-high boots with hundreds of dancers, before Kelly and Michelle jumped through the stage, leaping into an effortless performance of Bootylicious. We certainly weren’t ready for THAT jelly. It was amazing!
They then belted out Independent Women, followed by Beyonce’s own Single Ladies. The audience were given light-up rings to wave during the set (WE WANT).
Beyonce finished off her solo set with Halo, telling the crowd: “Thank y’all!. Thank you so much for this opportunity!”
You are most welcome, Bey. More Super Bowl news coming soon… RM
