Why I’m A Celebrity’s Declan Donnelly Was Carried Off Set By Security Last Night

The host did a disappearing act during last night's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here...

If you’re a fan of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, then we imagine it’s hosting duo Ant and Dec that bring you just as much joy as the contestants themselves.

But something weird happened last night. Because Dec got himself into trouble after repeating a comment that Scarlett Moffatt had said earlier on that episode.

The Gogglebox star made a rather controversial statement to her fellow campmates whilst discussing biscuit etiquette – because apparently, it’s totally NOT acceptable to dunk a Jammy Dodger in your tea.

And Dec decided to poke fun at the conversation later on during a segment with himself and co-host Ant McPartlin, only the consequences of his comments were a little harsher than we imagined he’d expected.

The 41-year-old went against Scarlett’s comments by dunking a Jammy Dodger into a cuppa live on air, joking that nothing bad could ever happen as a result of dunking a JD.

Oh, how wrong he was.

In a move that shocked viewers, Dec was promptly carried off set by two camouflaged security guards as a stunned Ant watched on helplessly.

LOLs.

Of course, the whole thing was just another of the pair’s hilarious stunts, and it certainly got the thumbs up from amused viewers on Twitter.

‘Ant and Dec cracking me up tonight 😂 #imacelebrity’, one wrote.

‘Absolutely loving Ant and Dec even more tonight! They are hysterical!! 😂 #imacelebrity xx’, gushed another.

The pair also tricked audiences last week when they pretended to have an argument after Dec ruined Ant’s celebration of the 300th Bushtucker Trial.

The barny resulted in Ant snapping at Dec and storming off set – but of course, it was all in jest.

Oh, you two. Always cracking us up.
