David Beckham Turns Biker Boy In Leather At Shop Launch

David Beckham brought London’s Bond Street to a standstill when he took his leather-clad self to pose as a biker boy at Belstaff‘s new flagship store launch.

The former England captain was a surprise guest at the British biker brand’s mean and moody bash, fuelling rumours that the rugged 38-year-old is set to be the face of the label’s SS14 campaign – well, there’s no denying he looks the part.

Giving Jason Derulo a run for his money in a black leather jacket, matching trousers and biker boots, the father-of-four pulled his best Blue Steel as he posed in front of an orange BMW bike and made us all dream of hopping astride that engine as Becks’ biker babes. If only…

Becks has made no secret of his love of bikes and is often snapped riding round LA on his manly two-wheelers. Speaking about the brand, David told Grazia: “I began wearing a lot of Belstaff a few years back when I started riding bikes. I actually found my first [Belstaff jacket] when I was shopping in a vintage store, funnily enough, about six or seven years ago and I still wear that when I’m riding.”

Sadly the style icon, who was seen earning his LFW fashion stripes at wife Victoria’s star-studded FROW last week, also rubbished rumours he’s about to take Hollywood by storm by adding that while he’s comfortable seeing his beautiful face smothered over billboards, witnessing it on the big screen is an entirely different story…

“To be honest, I’m not an actor”, he said. “I’ve been offered different roles over the years but for now, I’m sticking at what I’m doing”.

Shame. We were just about to start gunning for a Becks and RyGo Hells Angels remake… We’ll save it for our dreams.
