Following a tearful encounter with her ex on Sunday night's TOWIE, the 28-year-old has decided to set the record straight...
On Sunday, The Only Way Is Essex fans tuned in to watch Danielle Armstrong and her ex James Lock come face-to-face for the first time since their break-up. And, understandably, it got a little emotional.
The pair decided to call it quits a few months ago, with Danielle sharing the news with her Twitter followers. At the time, she wrote: ‘For everyone that keeps asking about me & James this quote pretty much sums us up I’m afraid & it’s time to move on’. Along with her words, she included a picture quote about love not being simple.
But during the final moments of this series’ first episode, Lockie and his former girlfriend had a discussion about not agreeing on marriage and children, giving the impression that this might have been the reason behind their split.
It seems that, following an influx of questions on social media, Danni wanted to clear things up, explaining the real reason that they parted ways.
Taking to Snapchat after the show, the 28-year-old explained: ‘So I’m getting a lot of tweets off people asking why me and James actually broke up.
‘I think obviously we did discuss about future and marriage and stuff… he said he didn’t want that – but that wasn’t just the reason why we broke up.’
She contined, ‘There was a lot of things he did in our relationship that upset me, he did let me down, and he just wasn’t really a very good boyfriend.

‘So I really don’t want people out there thinking “Oh God, someone just get married to her and knock the girl up!” – that is NOT the case.
‘I’ve got a lot to do in my career, I’m young, and that’s it!’
Sounds like you made the right decision for you, Dan.
The feisty Essex lady then decided to address that moment between newbie Courtney Green and Chloe Sims.
She said, ‘[Courtney] basically commented on me and James’ relationship when me and him broke up, and the way she spoke about it was very sarcastic.’
She finished, ‘And I just thought – not really needed.
‘It just was very insensitive, and she doesn’t really think. I saw her again at an event, and she did it again, and obviously Chloe was there. That’s why Chloe has got my back.’
Oh, the dramz.
