Someone Close To Little Mix Has Defended Their X Factor Outfits

The ladies were criticised for their sexy costumes on Sunday night's show, but Jesy Nelson's future mother-in-law thinks it's totally unfair...

Coleen Nolan has stuck up for Little Mix after they were criticised for their super-sexy outfits on last weekend’s The X Factor.

Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall debuted their new single Shout Out To My Ex on Sunday night’s results show.

It’s safe to say they looked (and sounded) in-SANE.

Perrie, 23, and 25-year-old Jesy were both rocking wet-look leotards, while Jade, 23, was in a hot pants and crop top combo and Leigh-Anne, 25, wore a white shirt dress.

They’d accessorised with thigh-high boots, waist belts and chokers. So gorge.

But unfortunately for the band, not everyone was quite so complimentary. In fact, they were labelled ‘prostitutes’ and a ‘bad influence’.

One viewer Tweeted: ‘What’s up with little mix dressing like prostitutes on X factor tonight then,’ while another wrote: ‘Why were little mix almost naked in tonight’s X factor? [sic].’

Um. Maybe because they looked INCREDIBLE, and have the right to wear exactly what they want without being judged.

It seems Coleen – who’s the mother of Jesy’s fiancé Jake Roche – agrees with us.

The 51-year-old said on Loose Women yesterday: ‘Goodness me. Really they had kind of swimsuits on and that was it. They didn’t have their boobs out.

‘When they first came out they were a very sweet and innocent girl band. Over the years, as you do, you develop as a woman, you experience life more.

‘They go out there. They’re so confident with themselves. They are all different shapes and sizes. They say: “This is me.” I’ve seen a lot worse. No one screams and shouts when Beyonce comes out!

‘I am biased. They are talking about my future daughter-in-law, and I won’t have it.’

YAAASSS. You tell ’em, lady!
