Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was a seriously busy lady this weekend – as well as appearing on the panel of two nights of The X Factor, she swung by the Jonathan Ross show with fellow judge Mel B. And she didn’t fail to look anything short of flawless.
Cheryl had opted for a muted monochrome palette, but her stylish separates weren’t short on drama. Proving that the pleated maxi is one of the season’s must-haves, she wore for a stunning centre-split skirt from Victoria Beckham’s AW14 Collection, which she teamed with a simple lace-detail cami and strappy heels. Her beauty look was equally spot-on, from her cascading curls to her glowing complexion and smoky eyes.
And it seems Cheryl had taken inspiration from VB in more than just the style department, as she said she discussed collaborating with former Spice Girl Mel B on a single. Mel teased ‘We did speak about that the other day.’ While Cheryl added: ‘Watch this space!’
In the mean time, the pair are hoping to take over an episode of the live shows with their tunes, as Cheryl explained: ‘We want to actually do a themed weekend where it’s Girls Aloud versus Spice Girls, that would be fun right!’ Before Mel added, ‘I hope you’re watching that Simon, make it happen!’
And in case you’re reading this Simon – we second that request.
