Piers Morgan Reveals Cheryl’s Due Date As He Explains Why She Hasn’t Announced Her ‘Pregnancy’

The Good Morning Britain host claims Cheryl's 'about to give birth' after new pictures of her blossoming 'bump' emerge...

Cheryl and Liam are the talk of the town today after the couple stepped out at the Fayre of St James Christmas Carol Concert in London last night, with Cheryl seemingly confirming her ‘pregnancy’.

The happy couple made their first public appearance together in weeks, with Cheryl rocking a forest green ribbed bodycon dress that clearly displayed her growing ‘bump’.

And unsurprisingly, the couple’s apparent confirmation that they’re expecting has been the topic on everyone’s lips this morning.

In fact, Piers Morgan – who famously interviewed Cheryl back in 2010 about her emotional malaria scare – seems to have let slip a secret about Cheryl’s due date, claiming on Good Morning Britain earlier today that she’s ‘about to give birth’.

Speaking on GMB, Piers said of the new snaps: ‘I think we can get past the is she or isn’t she. She’s about to give birth!’

Piers then went on to urge the singer to come clean about her ‘pregnancy’, adding: ‘Congratulations Cheryl – but if you’re watching this, you can’t kid a kidder.

‘You’re pregnant, get on with announcing it. We are very happy for you!’

Co-host Susanna Reid then piped up with her guess that Cheryl is ‘about six months’ pregnant, after examining the new pictures.

And as for why Cheryl and Liam have so far decided to keep schtum about their rumoured baby news? Well, Piers had a theory.

Cheryl proudly displayed her blossoming ‘bump’ last night in London…

Speculating that it’s all for attention, the presenter said: ‘It would be in their interest to string it out, so that we continue to be completely transfixed by the “is she or isn’t she?”, which is what we’ve been doing.

‘If you don’t do that and say you’re pregnant then bang, its end of story. The papers would cover it but there wouldn’t be anywhere near the excitement, it’s the mystery.’

He finished by adding: ‘I like Cheryl, I like Liam, they’re nice people. I think it’s a nice happy story and I can’t see any negatives!’
