Cheryl Cole is reportedly in talks to host her own TV chat show on Sky1.
According to The Daily Star, the Girls Aloud singer has been offered a “lucrative contract” which would see her return to our screens for the first time since she was sacked from The X Factor.
A source told the paper: “Sky1 are desperate to get Cheryl to sign up. They’ve been in talks for a while and believe they will have wrapped up the deal within the next month.
“They think she could be the UK’s Oprah because of her reputation as the nation’s sweetheart and are willing to pay big bucks to get her on board. They want the show to be emotional and confessional, not just another run-of-the-mill celebrity show.”
This is TOO exciting. Cheryl made a great judge on The X Factor and we think she’s definitely suited to more than just singing and dancing on TV.
Her manager Will.i.am is said to be ‘desperate’ to relaunch her TV career – and we’d certainly watch any show she appears on… We’ll bring you more details as soon as we have them! RM
