The former judge made an incredible entrance at Boughton House in Northamptonshire, emerging from a helicopter dressed in a black and white fitted shift dress, with her hair tied up in a glossy bun, and dark scarlet lips.
Greeted by cheers from the contestants, Ms Cole made us all chuckle when she made a sneaky jibe about Louis Walsh. Last year’s Carolynne Poole admitted she was “gutted” when she wasn’t put through to the live shows. She then revealed that Louis was her judge last year, to which Cheryl responded: “I would be gutted too.” Megalolz.
Cheryl acted as a great mentor, helping Gary to choose his final three from the six finalists – Kye Sones, Melanie Masson, Nicola Marie, Brad Shackleton and Carolynne Poole.
But she wasn’t keen to stick around to help him for too long. When Gary admitted it was going to be tough to make a decision, Cheryl quipped: “I’m so glad I have a car coming soon.”
Oh, Chez – we’ve missed you. Roll on the live shows! RM
