Cheryl Cole Is Back Where She Belongs… And We’re Excited

Cheryl Cole is back in the studio to work on her new album – and by the sounds of it, she’s even more excited than us.

The 30-year-old Call My Name singer has been busy laying down tracks for her fourth solo album and handily documenting her studio comeback on Instagram.

Sharing a snap of her low-key recording environment, Cheryl posted: ‘Rookie vocal booth.. !! #filterneeded #music #demo.’

After being away from the musical limelight for nearly 18 months now, we reckon it’s about time we had our favourite Geordie girl back with some blinding new material.

And if her infectuous excitement is anything to go by, we’re going to be in for a treat when her long-awaited 2014 album finally hits iTunes.

‘Can not sleep for the love of trying. I am toooo hyped about music… Excited !! #musicbrain #wirednottired words all in my head, the former X Factor judge tweeted earlier this week.

‘It amazes me how a sound wave whether a song or just a beat can literally make your hair stand on end&create goosebumps #notouchjustsound’, she also posted yesterday.

We can’t wait to see which of her showbiz pals she’s lined up to join her in that rookie recording booth. Musical BFF Will.i.am? Beyoncé?

We’ve got our fingers and toes crossed for a right royal Girls Aloud reunion… who’s with us?
