Could this be a Shout Out To Her Ex...?
Cheryl has finally made her return to Twitter.
The 33-year-old has kept schtum since her last post on 14 September, when she was promoting her fragrance StormFlower Platinum.
But now she’s back – and her messages have caused a right old stir.
Cheryl’s clearly a big fan of Little Mix’s new single Shout Out To My Ex, as it was the girls’ comeback that she Tweeted about.
In a message to Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, she wrote: ‘@LittleMix can I get a copy of Glory days before everyone else ? ??? pal perks ????’
Of course, Perrie, 23, replied: ‘@CherylOfficial Haha! ANYTHING for you beautiful! ?? #PalPerks Perrie <3.’
Aw. Lucky Chezza, eh? Cheryl then sent them the side-eye and information worker emojis – a combination that spells PURE sass.
Now, this is where fans started talking. Messages included: ‘SHE KNOWS! Go chezza,’ and: ‘Perfect song for you chez ??.’
We’ve gotta admit, Shout Out To My Ex could be very relevant to Cheryl right now.
Her divorce from French businessman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini had been granted earlier in the day, with a representative announcing: ‘Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings.’
We can imagine Cheryl’s pretty pleased with the news. Now that her marriage is officially over, she can move forward with her boyfriend Liam Payne.
In fact, Liam, 23, cryptically appeared to react with a thoughtful Instagram post.
Sharing a black and white Instagram snap of himself sitting on the floor next to a graffiti-ed wall, the One Direction singer’s caption read: ‘#lovefeelsbest’.
As you’ll probably know, baby rumours have been flying ever since Cheryl stepped out sporting what looked like a small bump at the L’Oreal Paris Gold Obsession party in the French capital last month.
Neither she nor Liam have confirmed the news, but it’s great that she’s now a free woman and able to live her life just how she wants to with her man.
Shout Out To My Ex, indeed!
