This is what the world has to say about Donald Trump becoming the next POTUS...
Nope, this isn’t a dream. Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States.
After a long night of results, the Republican candidate beat the Democratic party’s nomination Hillary Clinton.
This morning, at his victory speech in Manhattan, Trump announced: ‘I will be president for all Americans.’
He continued, ‘Working together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream. The forgotten men and women will be forgotten no longer.’
It was no secret that Hillary Clinton had overwhelming support from celebrities across America, including Tom Hanks, Beyonce and Lady Gaga.
So how is the showbiz world reacting to the news of the new president?
Well, Lady Gaga is currently protesting outside of Trump Tower in New York, having shared her sorrow at the results.
The Born This Way singer also shared a message with her followers, encouraging kindness, equality and love, whilst also speaking out for the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
Khloe Kardashian was also backing Clinton for the White House, and during the night she shared her concern at how close the results were shaping up to be. But, ultimately, she said: ‘I guess either way you look at it, history will be made tonight. Spread love. Not hate! ❤️’.
