Celebrity Big Brother has been criticised for a few decisions this week...
There’s always ‘fix’ claims circling around Big Brother, but the removal of Christopher Biggins from the house has caused a fresh wave of criticism for the Channel 5 show.
Having been evicted following ‘comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public’, the TV personality has spoken out about the decision.
And some have been left confused by the fact that they didn’t actually see one of the conversations that lead to his removal.
He told The Sun, ‘I think Channel 5 were trying to protect me by not screening it.
‘I think it’s unfortunate that someone has decided to leak the story. Then they had to do something.
‘I was called into the diary room so I went along in a shirt and underwear. They said they’d warned me twice now and I’d broken the rules so they were going to evict me.’
Some viewers of the show have taken issue with the fact that Channel 5 kept them in the dark, choosing not to air the comments.
A number of the show’s fans have taken to social media to share their opinions.
A few comments include: ‘So Biggins made these comments, apologised to the others and they’d accepted it with no problem, why did Channel5 just not show it? #CBB’ and ‘It is shameful that #CBB and #c5 did not show Biggins comments in full. Why are they softening what he said ?? #ofcom’ [sic].
And others aren’t happy that Bear is still in the house.
Comments included: ‘Fair enough what Biggins said was bad, but if Bear didn’t get removed after what he done this is the biggest fix ever! #CBB #CBBUK’ and ‘Removing Biggins the obvious winner but Marnie exposing herself infront of Saira is completely sound. I smell a fix?? #CBB’.
