Calling all budding fashion careerists, NME’s newest project, #LifeHacks, could be your ticket to getting ahead of the competition and kicking off your lucrative career on the right foot.
In collaboration with employment initiative Create Jobs, NME are hosting an event with an assembled line-up of industry professionals from the worlds of fashion, music, tech and film.

The evening will feature an array of panel discussions, workshops, Q&As and talks as well as opportunities for you to network with industry professionals and like-minded peers.
Headlined by SBTV founder and MBE, Jamal Edwards, with talks from fashion designer Holly Fulton, fashion stylist Alex Stedman and Topman creative director, Gordon Richardson, to give you the an edge in both the creative and business sides of the fashion industry.
Whether you want to pitch your ideas to the NME team, hang out in the mindfulness corner or just get some certified outfit advice from the on-hand fashion partners, #Lifehacks is well worth attending for any up-and-coming creative.
The event is on 13th October at The Islington Metal Works!
If you’re more concerned with the ‘play hard’ facet of the expression, #LifeHacks will also feature gaming stations and photo booths along with free food and drink for any ticket holders from the best pizza spot in London, Voodoo Ray’s, as well as a headline set from a secret superstar artist that you definitely do not want to miss!
For young people aged between 18-25 this is an amazing opportunity to rub shoulders with industry giants and get a step closer to putting your passions to work!
