Cara Delevingne On Rihanna Friendship: “She Gives Me Advice”

Cara Delevingne has been spilling about her showbiz friendship with Rihanna, revealing that the singer gives her advice about dealing with the pitfalls of fame.

Speaking to magazine, British model Cara – who’s just celebrated her 21st birthday – admitted that despite the mountains of cash, clothes and celeb mates, her jet-setting lifestyle can be lonelier than it looks. So who does she turn to in a confidence crisis? Nope, not wifey Rita Ora, but new gal pal RiRi.

“In Greece, it was a lot of couples, and I felt alone, which made me sad,” she said when talking about a recent work trip to Europe. “I called Rihanna. She said, ‘It’s easy to drown yourself in work. That’s a form of escapism. So, if you’re alone and you want to cry, cry.’ And I did. But by then, it was time to leave and get back to my life.”

Aw. We knew these two were solid party pals after their recent girls’ trip to Monaco, but it’s nice to hear that Cara and RiRi’s friendship runs deeper than sambuca shots and strip clubs.

And it’s not just her Bajan BFF who’s been helping Cara gain a bit of pespective in the crazy world of fashwan. The Burberry beauty has also been turning to her model mate Kate Moss, who was on hand to help when Cara’s psoriasis flared up in the middle of Fashion Week.

“Kate saw me before the Louis Vuitton show at 3 a.m., when I was being painted by people to cover the scabs,” she said. “She said, ‘This is horrible! Why is this happening? I need to help you.’ She got me a doctor that afternoon; Kate gives really good advice.”

Who needs therapy when you’ve got RiRi and Mossy on speedial?
