Britney's back. And we're so, so, so happy...
We’ve been waiting for five whole years, but FINALLY Britney Spears made her return, hitting the UK with an epic performance at this year’s Apple Music Festival.
The pop princess made a killer comeback to the stage last night when she played at the Camden Roundhouse in front of a whole load of celebs, including Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw, and a whole load more fans.
Having given us almost two decades of musical genius – yup, it’s been 20 years since Brit danced around in those fluffy pigtails – Britney treated the audience to all of her classics, including Toxic and Womanizer.
And the star brought some Las Vegas magic along to London with her, by including eight whole outfit changes in the space of her 90 minute set.
Her enviable wardrobe included a handful of sparkly leotards and a diamond embellished jacket.
We’d expect nothing less from Brit.
Unsurprisingly social media erupted with fans praising the star on her on-point performance, with one fan writing: ‘You know Britney Spears is truly a legend when she’s still able to top the game 20 years into her career’.
‘BRITNEY SPEARS IS THE BEST PERFORMER OF ALL TIME,’ another excited follower added.
Although it wasn’t quite plain sailing for Brit, as some social media users pointed out that they thought the …Baby One More Time singer had momentarily lost her balance on stage.
In a short video clip that’s doing the rounds online, you can just about see what appears to be Britney attempting a backflip with a back-up dancer.

It looks like it might have gone ever-so-slightly wrong, with her changing her mind at the last minute.
Music blogger Jordan Miller captured it on Instagram.
Luckily she recovered from the mishap like a true pro and the singer came out of the risky move still looking totally incredible.
Showing just how amazing she really is, Britney finished her show with a bang, with fireworks lighting up the stage.
YAAAS. We’re totally fangirling.
Oh Britney, we’ve missed you.
