Reports are alleging that the 52-year-old actor was ‘verbally abusive’ with one of his children
It’s clear that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split isn’t going to go down quietly.
Two days after it was revealed that Angelina, 41, had filed for divorce, Brad has allegedly been investigated by police and social services in LA.
According to TMZ, the 52-year-old got ‘verbally abusive’ with one of his and Angelina’s children on their private plane. Their other kids were present at the time.
Once the flight had landed, he ‘continued his rant on the tarmac’. He’d reportedly been drinking.
The alleged incident – said to have occurred last Wednesday – was apparently what prompted Angelina to split with him the next day, and then file for divorce.
The Los Angeles Police Department and LA County Department Of Children And Family Services are believed to be investigating, after someone anonymously reported the episode.
Brad and Angelina have reportedly been interviewed as part of the probe, and there are plans for authorities to speak to the children.
A source close to Brad has said that he isn’t taking the allegations lightly, stating: ‘He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children.
‘It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.’
Neither Brad nor Angelina have commented on the allegations. When Ange filed for divorce, she cited irreconcilable differences.
