The Allied actor sparked quite the reaction from the crowd, as he took to the stage during this year's Golden Globes...
Brad Pitt appears to have been the talk of the evening at the Golden Globes, hosted at The Beverly Hilton in California on Sunday night.
Making a rare public appearance, the 53-year-old took to the famous stage to present an award for Moonlight. The film, which was nominated for six Golden Globes, follows the life of a young black man as he struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in Miami, according to IMDB.
Looking suave in a classic black tuxedo, with his hair groomed and only a little facial stubble, the actor looked happy as he received an overwhelmingly warm welcome from the audience.
He seemed to take the experience in, before thanking the crowd.
Brad said of the movie: ‘It’s born of the courage of a group of actors willing to strip to their souls and express their humanism inside mistake and misstep and misdeed.’
‘It is Barry Jenkins profound belief that we all stand at the threshold of change and forgiveness where we only grant acceptance and love to ourselves,’ he continued. Brad’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, co-produced the film.
Last November, the Allied actor made his very first public appearance since the news of his split from Angelina Jolie broke, attending a private screening of Moonlight in LA, according to PEOPLE.
He also attended the premiere for Allied, which he starred in alongside Marion Cotillard, in Madrid last November.
Brad and Angelina’s divorce proceedings are ongoing, and a recent report claimed that Angelina has agreed to her ex husband’s request to seal their divorce documents.
The former couple share six children together, and, naturally, both claim that they are now the priority.
