Since the reports broke, the Hollywood couple have been plagued by a number of rumours surrounding the real reason behind their shock split, with Jolie’s dad’s comments only adding to the dramz.

Talking in an interview with the Inside Edition, Jon Voight revealed: “Something very serious must have happened for Angie to make a decision like this.”

The 77-year-old continued: “I don’t know what it is. Say a little prayer.

“I am concerned for Angie and the children and hopefully I will be seeing them very soon.”

According to sources published on TMZ, Brad Pitt is “furious” that Angelina has allegedly spurred stories that he ‘poses a risk to their kids’.

The original report claimed that Angelina was ‘upset’ with how Brad was parenting the children, and that she is asking for physical custody, and requesting that the judge give Pitt visitation.

The 52-year-old is also reportedly unhappy that his children have become a ‘prime target’ for paparazzi in the wake of their family news.

The publication has also alleged that Brad had pleaded with Angelina over the last few days, before the divorce went public, asking to handle this difficult time “like adults.”

In a statement released to PEOPLE, Brad has said: “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids.

“I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

Despite being one of the world’s most talked about celebrity couples, Brad and Ange have always kept a level of privacy surrounding their family life and their six children.

We really wish them both the best at this difficult time, and our hearts go out to them.
