The 26-year-old's daughter is blessed with long lashes, which has led to some speculation from fans...
Billie Faiers’ fans leapt to her defence after she was accused of using make-up on her daughter Nelly yesterday.
The 26-year-old found herself on the receiving end of some very harsh criticism when she shared a photo of her adorable tot visiting Father Christmas.
The seemingly-innocent snap showed little Nelly, two, grinning outside the grotto.
She’d been dressed in a festive red coat and matching shoes, and Billie had captioned the image: ‘A much more successful trip to see Father Christmas this year … 🙊🎄🎁❤️.’
Cute, huh?! But unfortunately for the TOWIE lady, some of her Instagram followers ended up a little confused by Nelly’s gorgeous long eyelashes.
Comments included: ‘Have they put mascara on this little girl? Haha,’ and: ‘I know this might sound ridiculous but are their fake eyelashes?? [sic].’
Hmm. We’re pretty sure Nelly’s just blessed with naturally fluttery lashes (and we’re very jealous).
And plenty of others agree with us, with one reply reading: ‘Do people seriously think she’s putting mascara on her young daughter? There was a photo of her asleep recently and u can see her eyelashes are naturally long and dark.. people need to get a grip ffs 😴.’
Another said: ‘Omg! Listen to yourselves, do you really think she would put mascara on her! Children are known to have long eyelashes whether they are blonde or not.’
Billie’s yet to respond to the furore, and TBH, we think she’s probably a little too busy RN to bother.
This is Nelly’s last Christmas as an only child, as Billie and her fiancé Greg Shepherd are expecting their second bubba together.
Aw. Merry Christmas to you all, guys!
