Remeber the photo that wewnt viral for proving that baby bumps really can come in ALL shapes and sizes?
Well, HIIT trainer and bodybuilder Chontel Duncan has now given birth to her adorable baby boy, Jeremiah.
After his arrival around Easter time, Chontel took to Instagram to introduce him, writing: ‘Healthy happy baby boy, absolutely nothing medically wrong with bubba, he is extremely alert and very strong shocking the staff here with his arms and neck strength.’
‘My recovery is smooth also with no complications.’
And now, just a few weeks later, Chontel is looking incredible, with her insanely fit body astounding fellow mums on Instagram. We mean, can you believe she’s just given birth?!
Whilst pregnant, Chontel shared a picture showing herself and her friend, Natalie Smith, standing bump-to-bump. And yes, they were at near-identical stages of pregnancy at the time – around 21 weeks.
‘Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn’t mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc.’, Duncan, who is continuing to exercise throughout her pregnancy, wrote underneath the image.
‘We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy.’
‘We worked out that we are 4 weeks apart, so our little ones will be the same age, same grade at school and potential best buds’, she continued. ‘Nat’s due start of March & I’m due end of March.’
Chontel received plenty of lovely comments about her comparison snap, with one user tagging a friend and writing: ‘Isn’t this amazing? Next time someone tells you that your belly is small tell them your abs make the baby hide well.’

But there was also a big backlash against her photo, which left the mum-to-be surprised.
‘I thought it’d be very obvious that we would carry differently,’ Duncan told People. ‘I’m clearly extremely tall and hold a lot more muscle mass. Plus it was Nat’s third pregnancy. It’s my first.’
We think they both look fab. And it’s always good to be reminded that healthy bumps come in all shapes and sizes!
