Ariana Grande is the QUEEN of standing up for girls’ rights.
So when a troll unwittingly decided to say some truly awful things about her Dangerous Woman music video, she wasted no time in getting her sass on.
Ariana has never kept quiet about her hatred for double standards between men and women. So this was the perfect time for her to step in and drop some truth.
The comment, which was left on her Facebook page, read, ‘Ariana all respect, but dangerous woman I loved but the trouble is that in [the music video] salts like a wh***! . sorry for the rudeness, I only just said the truth…. SORRY’ [sic].
Um, sorry, but where’s the ‘respect’ in that?
Understandably, Ariana didn’t take kindly to being labelled a ‘wh***’. Go figure.
Hitting back, the songstress wrote, ‘When will people stop being offended by women showing skin / expressing sexuality?
‘Men take their shirts off / express their sexuality on stage, in videos, on Instagram, anywhere they want to… all. the. time.’
We have to agree. We mean, just go to Tinder and you’ll find ALL the topless men…
She finished, ‘The double standard is so boring and exhausting. With all due respect, I think it’s time you get your head out of your a**. Women can love their bodies too!!’
They sure can.
And they should, too.
