Brad Pitt was the talk of the internet after he emerged for a surprise appearance at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
After just a handful of public appearances since news of his divorce from Angelina Jolie broke, the 53-year-old took to the famous stage to present an award for Moonlight. And his moment was met with huge applause from the celebrity audience, made up of his Hollywood peers.
Looking suave in a classic black tuxedo, with his hair groomed and only a little facial stubble, the actor looked happy as he received the overwhelmingly warm welcome. Naturally, this lead to widespread headlines about how ‘Brad is back’.
But, according to one report, Angelina Jolie wasn’t too impressed by the reaction.
A source alleged to The Sun, ‘There’s so much love for Brad in Hollywood and she feels like there’s none for her.’
‘They sorted out their statement within hours of his Golden Globes appearance. She realised the impact their separation has had on her image and is desperate to try to ensure no further damage is done.’
After the awards show in LA, Brad and Angelina released their first public statement since the announcement of their divorce.
Released to the Associated Press, the statement reads: ‘The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
‘The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.’

According to PEOPLE, it was Brad who first asked an LA Superior Court judge to seal all records.
‘They will be keeping things to themselves from now on,’ the insider also reportedly added to The Sun.
This was never going to be an easy time for the former couple, who share six children. And we’re wishing them all the best.
