The 38-year-old singer managed to look both casual AND sophisticated for a TV appearance yesterday...
Alesha Dixon looked AH-mazing on Loose Women yesterday.
The 38-year-old nailed casual chic, working ripped jeans and a loose-fitting pinstripe shirt. Injecting a shot of glamour, she’d paired the ensemble with statement lace-up heels.
But while her outfit was on point, not everything about Alesha’s appearance on the show was quite so popular.
She ended up upsetting X Factor act Bratavio, after she referred to them as ‘Dumb and Dumber’ during a chat with the panel. Eep.
This is despite the fact that she was actually one of Louis Walsh’s celebrity helpers at Judges’ Houses, where the lads were put through to the Lives.
When asked if there was anyone she thought shouldn’t have made it to the final stage, she admitted she wouldn’t have said yes to the group, who are known separately as Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro.
However, when telling the story, she couldn’t quite remember their names. Instead, she jokingly referred to them as ‘Dumb and Dumber.’
Of course, Bratavio quickly caught wind of this. After Alesha took part in a debate over whether people should criticise their own children, they Tweeted: ‘@loosewomen @AleshaOfficial You called us dumb and dumber! So you can slate other people’s children happily ?? #loosewomen.’
This message now appears to have been deleted, but they did also pen the apparently sarcastic comment: ‘Thanks @AleshaOfficial ?.’
They also re-Tweeted a fan’s message, which read: ‘There called @BRATAVIO the show was so boring without them [sic]. She needs to learn people’s names it’s @BRATAVIO it’s like no one on xfactor can speak this year.’
This isn’t the first time that Alesha’s hinted she’s not exactly Bratavio’s biggest fan.
When the Judges’ Houses episodes were originally screened, she captioned an Instagram photo: ‘Well that was fun! But I am gutted, I was really rooting for the 2 girl groups! @thexfactor #thexfactor.’
Oosh, all so awkward. Let’s hope these guys eventually kiss and make up…
