Adele hit the high-street yesterday for a browse of the sale rails as she got her bargain hunt on for baby clothes for little Angelo.
The thrifty mum-of-one reconfirmed her status as one of showbiz’s most down-to-earth stars when she was spotted shopping solo – no burly bodyguards here thank you very much – on London’s Kensington High Stree.
Nipping into Gap before succumbing to H&M’s attractive buy-one-get-one-free half-price tees, Adele’s only focus seemed to be to pick up some new threads for her firstborn as she blended in with her fellow shoppers.
‘She was looking at clothes for her son, I don’t think anyone in the shop even noticed it was her,’ an eyewitness told Metro.
‘She kept her head down and made her way through the rails of clothing pretty quickly, although she seemed to struggle between which t-shirts to choose.’
The onlooker added that Adele, dressed in all black with a dark pair of showbiz sunnies as her only giveaway, reportedly perused some £5.99 t-shirts and £7.99 tracksuit bottoms in H&M before heading for the tills.
‘She was completely on her own, there was no security with her at all,’ it added.
While we love the shunning of security, solo shopping can be a bit of a snooze. So if you ever need a shopping partner in future, Adele, you know where to holla…
