It’s safe to say that Adele’s performance didn’t go exactly as planned at the Grammys.
We’d all been looking forward to seeing the 27-year-old take to the stage to perform her track All I Ask – but it quickly became clear that there was something off with the sound.
Adele looked INCREDIBLE in a sparkling Givenchy gown and (as expected) completely owned the stage. However, audio problems meant that her beautiful voice kept being muted.
It was pretty awkward. And understandably, Adele wanted to explain to fans what exactly had happened.
She actually seemed pretty blasé about the whole affair on Twitter, telling followers that she was tucking into a burger to make herself feel better.
The Tottenham-born star wrote: ‘The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S*** happens. X.
‘Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.’
However, when Adele filmed an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, she admitted that she was a little more upset than she’d first let on.
She said: ‘I cried pretty much all day yesterday.’ Wah. Poor lamb :(.
But Adele’s now brushed herself off and is ready to kick butt in future gigs.
She continued: ‘I don’t feel like it could go that much worse than the Grammys though. So I feel like I’m alright now. Anything that happens, dust it off!

‘Next time I have any sound issues I am gonna stop. I’ll be like: “Sorry, that’s not working for me. If we have time to do it again, let’s do it. Otherwise, bye!”‘
That’s the Adele we like to hear.
