Um. HOW dramatic was Love Island tonight?!
We first saw Chelsea girl Tina Stinnes head home, after Adam Maxted chose Katie Salmon over her in the coupling ceremony.
The guys then had to take a lie detector test – and it’s safe to say it caused quite a bit of controversy. Eep.
After receiving a text which explained the challenge, the girls chose the questions before the lads got hooked up to the machine.
Alex Bowen ended up landing himself in hot water with Olivia Buckland, having apparently lied about, er, pretty much everything.
He was asked: ‘Are your feelings real towards Olivia?’ He said: ‘Yes’, but the detector said it was a lie. Uh-oh.
It also said he was lying about not fancying other girls in the villa more than her.
Knowing that Olivia was already struggling to trust him, you can imagine how that went down. There were tears.
At the end of the show, we saw each of the couples chat about life when they fly home (yep, it really is coming to an end *sob*), and where they saw their relationships going.
Of course, Adam and Katie had only just got together. So we saw them embark on a romantic date, on which they shared their first kiss. Aw.
They then continued their smooching session back at the villa, leaving the majority of viewers made up for them.

Tweets included: ‘Aww buzzing for Adam,’ and: ‘Aw I’m actually so happy for Adam he’s waited the longest time to find a girl he really likes and he finally has !!! [sic].’
However, others weren’t quite so sure. One wrote: ‘Maybe Adam is just a bad kisser he looks it. bless him his hilarious tho.’
Others said: ‘Most awkward kiss award goes to Adam and Katie,’ and: ‘Second kiss and still Adam couldn’t bring himself to stick the tongue in?’
Hmmm. Let’s just wait and see how things develop, eh?
