Partied hard this weekend? Here are 4 ways to disguise signs of tiredness this week

It’s been a hectic weekend and you didn’t get as much rest as you needed. It’s fine, we’ve all been there, but we definitely don’t need any over-indulgence showing all over our faces come Monday.

Fight the fatigue (or just keep it on lockdown) with our beauty tips for disguising tired eyes.

1. Treat your skin

Sunday night is the time to prep your weary skin for the week ahead. Treat your eyes well with the Ren Active 7 Eye Gel  to refresh and hydrate under your eyes. Chuck this on the night before you have to face the boardroom and you will reduce any puffiness or other signs of sleep-deprivation.

2. Cover up

A good concealer is like your magic wand. Bobbi Brown’s Tinted Eye Brightener is perfect to slap on around those dark circles, so apply this liberally and you’ll be good to go. Alternatively, I love the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer kit that includes a colour corrector and a concealer, so you can balance out your skin tone nicely.

3. A bold lip

One way I love to distract from under-eye bags is to just draw attention to an entirely different area. A bold lip in a red or a pink will pull the focus away from your eyes and towards your mouth. It also has the added bonus of instantly brightening your look, so even if you don’t feel awake, you will look it. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lip lacquers come in vibrant shades that will last all day.

4. Pinch those cheeks

Pink is the antidote to any signs of tiredness. Grab yourself a good pink blush to brighten your cheeks and make you look alive. Try Laura Mercier’s Second Skin blusher in the shade Mocha for the perfect pink tint to your cheeks.
