Beauty hacks: 5 of the best blow dry bars in London

I’ll be honest with you here, I don’t always have the time or the energy to make my hair look acceptable for work. It might be dirty, it might be frizzy, either way, sometimes I need help.

Thankfully there are magical places we can go where someone else can rescue our hair for us when we get to the point of no return.

1. The breakfast blow

Head to the Jo Hansford salon for a breakfast blow dry before your first meeting. The 40 minute blow dry includes tea, coffee and toast, so you can get in and out and at the office by 9am.

2. The quickie

Blow London have multiple locations at which you can grab a quick blow dry in between meetings. They’ve got a range of styles to choose from, and if you really can’t escape the office then they’ll visit you wherever you are.

3. Desk to drinks

Duck & Dry offer a huge selection of blow dry options and up-dos that will ensure you can go from the office straight out that evening for dinner or drinks.

4. For a treat

If you’ve got a little extra time at lunch and fancy a treat, Aveda’s salon at Liberty offers some great treatments that will leave your hair feeling fresh. Grab a blow dry and even a cheeky trim if you fancy.

5. Braid bar

Technically not a blow dry, but definitely worth a look. If you’re past the point of no return, try a braid bar. Topshop’s flagship at Oxford Circus has a Hersheson’s braid bar at your disposal. Go in, choose from their selection of styles, and hide away any signs of hair in need of a wash.

Now what?
