High Street Hottest For Men: Versace For H&M
Ignore the fact Elton John is cited as one of their biggest fans – if a fashion brand is big enough to encompass lines in fashion, home furnishings cosmetics, accessories, fragrance, and even launch the first ever designer car in the world (a white Lamborghini Murcielago with white interior and black rims, for the record), they’re worth knowing about.
This season, iconic Italian fashion label Versace has joined the long list of labels including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo, Sonia Rykiel, Lanvin, Come des Garcons and Viktor & Rolf to design an exclusive collection for high street fashion store H&M.
Inspired by the Versace archives, the menswear fashion collection features slick tailored pieces, with suit jackets and trousers in black and even pink, (if you’re feeling brave), quilted leather jackets, jeans, printed tees and cashmere jumpers. Available in high street fashion stores now, and online from 17 November 2011, you’ll need to be quick - this fashion collection will sell out faster than the Stone Roses reunion tour gigs. HE

High Street Hottest For Men: Autumns' Best Boots
So long deck shoes – Autumn’s hit and there’s nothing better to start the new season than with a pair of investment boots. Whether you go for Bertie’s classic brogues or Topman’s directional hikers, we’ve picked 10 of the high street's best boots, which will work with everything from jeans to chinos, to smarter office looks.
Check out the first injection of leather boots from Converse, which take inspiration from the Converse trainers designed by Chuck Taylor for basketball players in the 1920s. With their heavy-duty design and durable detail, these bad boys have come a long way since those first worn by American basketball players, and aren’t we glad – they’ll look way better on you lot than an NBA player anyway. High Street Hottest For Men: 10 Best Bags
Holdall, briefcase, duffle or bowling; man bags were all over the Autumn/Winter 2011 catwalks at Burberry, Emporio Armani, Bottega Veneta and Gucci, and are a lot more wearable (and a lot less girly) than you might think. Practical and on trend, man bags have become the ultimate style accessory, with everyone from David Beckham, to Hugh Jackman and Jay Z rocking them with their smart and casual wardrobes - and now you can get the look on the high street, too. If Burberry's orange bowling bag is a little too out there, opt for styles in natural colours of suede, leather and canvas, which will work perfectly with the rest of your wardrobe. Ranking high in our bag top 10 is Debenhams leather holdall, which is perfect for weekends away (a good excuse to whisk the girlfriend away, we say), whilst Mango's canvas tote is perfect to wear across body for work. Get man bags on your radar, you'll earn some serious style credentials with these bad boys. HE

High Street Hottest For Men: Shop The Best Denim Buys
From the first jeans made for gold miners by Levi Strauss in the 1800’s, to those worn by Hollywood stars like James Dean and Elvis Presley, to present day collections by designers including Dries Van Noten, D&G and Ralph Lauren, denim is the most versatile fashion fabric on the planet – and it's looking better than ever. Forget your bog standard boot cuts, denim for 2011 has gone fashion-forward, with a massive selection of washes, sleeker cuts and finer detailing. If Prada’s double denim look conjures up visions of Bros in the 1980's, (proceed with caution, we say), look to traditional American work wear - relaxed fit chinos, butter soft leathers, breton stripe t-shirts and checked shirts work perfectly with all manner of denim. Investment buys worth cashing in on - those miners have a lot to answer for! HE
