Hairstyle How To: Dip-Dye At Home
It’s the hottest celebrity hairstyle of the moment and the perfect way to spice up your hair colour for spring. Now, we’re not talking full-throttle punk, but just a little colour at the ends – up for the challenge? Originally sported by Nicki Minaj and most recently on Dakota Fanning, Drew Barrymore and Cat Deeley, colour is definitely here to stay.
So how do you do it? Well, for wash-out colour, try Stargazers Colour Spray in pink (get it at Amazon). It’s only around £3 and can be completely removed in just one wash – the perfect weekend fix. Put an old towel around your shoulders and brush hair out so it’s completely smooth and straight. Section the hair in half and bring it round to the front so you can see what you’re doing. Leave the strands flat against your shoulders and spray colour onto the ends. Make sure you wear gloves and don’t do it near white walls! For a more permanent colour, try Fudge’s Paint Box in Pretty Flamingo, £8.95. It lasts for three to 30 washes. To apply, first shampoo your hair and lleave off the conditioner then, wearing gloves, squirt a little colour into your hands and apply just to the ends, like you would do for a treatment. The colour should take about 20 minutes to develop and then all you have to do is rinse until the water turns clear!
And if we can’t convince you to choose colour, why not try a little blonde? John Frieda's new Go Blonder Lightening Spray, £6.99, brightens and lightens normal and highlighted hair. Spray onto towel-dried ends and comb through. It uses clever Thermo-Protectant technology, which means the colour will develop when you add heat from either a hairdryer or straighteners. And that's it – new coloured locks without the salon price! SF See all the latest celebrity dip-dye hairstyle pictures below. Be inspired!

Jessie J’s Back In The Dip Dye Gang
Wowsers, Jessie J’s hairdresser must be pretty busy is all we can say. Since the popstrel hit the big time she’s been purple, black, had a long bob, short bob, tumbling curls and even tried grey ends - and we thought Katy Perry liked to experiment with her locks!
Yesterday Miss J unveiled yet another new hairstyle while out and about in Birmingham: flame red dip dye. The A-list have been loving the dip dye trend for a while now, with Kate Bosworth rocking green ends and Sienna Miller going for pale pink, but Jessie’s black and red colour clash makes a major style statement, especially with those scarlet brothel creepers. We wonder what came first, the shoes or the hair?!
Fancy trying out the dip dye trend? Check out our celeb gallery below for some hairstyle inspiration. GG

Cheryl Cole's Hair Gets Supersized
Cheryl Cole may have been off filming a special tribute for The Pride Of Britain Awards at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan's Helmand Province, but she sure returned with a bang as she glammed it up at the StylistPick website launch party in London on Monday night.
Cheryl Cole, who is set to launch a footwear collection with the site, teamed her gorgeous red dress with a massive beehive hair do that would make Marge Simpson jealous – wonder how many cans on Elnett they used creating that look? What with the huge hair that Cheryl sported at the US X Factor auditions, it seems she's become a bit of a champion of big hairstyles – it must be all of that LA air! Welcome back to home soil,Cheryl! HE

Wow! Check Out Frankie Sandford’s New Hairstyle
It was just a few days ago that we saw The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2011 rocking her usual sweeping short hairstyle, but just three days later and look how it's grown! We couldn’t quite make up our minds as they’re not the usual long extensions, but Frankie Sandford must have had a little help from some clever hair extensions to get this new grown-out bob hairstyle. We think this must be the first stage before she grows her hair longer. Watch this space! RS
