London Fashion Week will add another name to it’s already jam packed catwalk schedule this February – high street giant Whistles.
After two seasons showing off-schedule with a presentation in Mayfair and a catwalk show at London’s swish Heron Tower, the British brand will now join the likes of Christopher Kane and Burberry with a coveted slot on the on-schedule, main catwalk roll call.
The last word in luxe, high-end high street, Whistles’ directional designs have scored the label a seriously A-list fan base including Olivia Palermo, Kate Middleton and Alexa Chung to name a few. Needless to say, we’re expecting a celeb-filled FROW when they showcase their AW14 collection next month.
Speaking about joining the on-schedule line-up, Whistles CEO Jane Shepherdson said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for Whistles to show our Autumn Winter ‘14 collection to the global press and buyers. We are very excited to be working with the support of the BFC who have done an incredible job promoting British Fashion”. With a menswear line launching later this year too, it looks like 2014 will be all about Whistles world domination. We can’t wait.
