After sitting FROW-side at the amazing H&M show in Paris on Wednesday, seeing Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid strut down the catwalk, last night it was all about Mulberry’s spring/summer 2015 collection party. Talk about a whirlwind week of fashion!

Following a non-stop day taking in Roland Mouret’s autumn/winter 2015 show and a J. Crew store opening, Head of Fashion News Lucy Wood popped down to Paris’ iconic Galeries Lafayette for her second star-studded soiree of Paris Fashion Week and mingled with the likes of new Mulbs poster girl Georgia May Jagger and popstrel Jessie Ware, who gave a killer performance.

Georgia May had a ball at the bash, joining in with the fun of making leather bracelets and personalising them with a range of Mulberry stamps. All while snacking on beautiful canapes – the beef fillet with cantal cheese and chocolate and hazlenut fingers were to die for!

As was Georgia May’s amazing broderie anglaise dress from Mulberry’s SS15 collection – not to mention that chic white Lily bag which is officially at the top of our spring wish list.

After bracelet-making and canape munching, the gorgeous Miss Ware took to the stage to serenade us with her single ‘Say You Love Me’, surrounded by golden Mulberry heart and bag balloons. Lucy caught up with Jessie before her storming set to chat all things fashion and of course, Mulberry. You’ll have to wait to read the full interview but for now, here’s a little teaser…

On why the French have the edge when it comes to style:

“It’s that effortlessly cool thing that they do so well…they’ll just be in a Breton top with some beautiful tailored trousers and a bold matte red lipstick and it’s just so easy but it looks chic!”

We couldn’t agree more.

On last night’s amazing outfit:

“I love this white crochet dress – wearing it feels like the first day of spring! It feels quite special and relevant for who I’m playing for tonight – it’s feminine and free!”

On her fave Mulberry bag:

“I’d have them all, but if I could only have one, it’d be the Cara bag, which you can choose to wear as a rucksack or as a top handle tote – you can fit loads in there and it still looks gorgeous!”

If you want to hear more about Jessie’s take on fashion, her stage outfits, the key to great skin and how Prince William chose her puppy’s name, then keep your eyes peeled for the full interview in LOOK magazine soon.

Thanks for one fabulously fashionable evening Mulberry!
