As if we couldn’t love Victoria Beckham enough, she’s shared some incredible news to mark World AIDs Day.
The pop sensation turned fashion designer has lent her oh-so-talented hands to the cause, creating a custom made t-shirt to raise funds and awareness for this inhumane disease.
But it doesn’t stop there.
This morning, Mrs Beckham announced, “Help me support #WorldAIDSDay. T-shirts available today at Dover Street with 100% proceeds supporting #UNAIDS”. Now that’s genoristy if ever we’ve seen it. And for such an amazing cause, we feel that it’s worth taking advantage of.
World AIDs Day is held on the 1st Decemeber every year. You may have seen celebrities and commuters alike sporting a red ribbon brooch, and this is all part of the charities campaign to raise awareness and funding to help with the fight against HIV, and to commemorate those that have suffered with the illness.
VB has also been busy making some red ribbon badges, which are also on sale in her store today. She shared a photo on her Twitter of the “red ribbon elves” making them, using the official ribbon.
Victoria isn’t the only celebrity to show support, with Gok Wan and Prince Harry also speaking out in support of the cause.
You can learn more and show your support on the official World AIDs Day website.
