Victoria Beckham looked magnificent in black at the CFDA Fashion Awards last night. But it was her jewellery that was the real talking point…
The 41-year-old designer was the last to arrive on the red carpet, and opted for a slinky black gown with a plunging neckline for her night at the Lincoln Centre alongside Kim Kardashian, Katie Holmes, Chrissy Teigen and a whole host of other celebrity beauties.
The stretch skirt highlighted her slender frame, while the silky plunging wrap top allowed VB to flash a hint of decolletage, as well as making room for those jewels.
Victoria normally goes miminal with her jewellery, but last night she picked a selection of vintage statement Louisa Guinness necklaces to give her black dress a colourful edge.
VB only recently discovered the British gallery owner’s jewellery collection, and chose a 1976 Boucheron and 1945 Line Bautrin (a gold fish and a turquoise diamond) from the collection to wear. We’re loving the whimsy fun coming from VB right now!
The former Spice Girl also added a arge gemstone ring, and swept her shiny locks into a loose, wavy side ponytail. Lovely.
Shunning hubby David Beckham for the night, Victoria was instead accompanied to the event by Vogue’s international editor at large, Hamish Bowles, who was rocking a loud floral suit.
The mum-of-four has to be one of the most successful businesswoman on earth, and juggles her work and family life apparently effortlessly. Speaking to The Guardian about her daily routine, VB said:

‘I know that I’m lucky to be in a position to plan my diary around the kids’ assemblies and sports days. I never miss those. But on the other hand, I don’t ever watch TV.’
What, not even Game Of Thrones?! You’re missing out, VB.
She continued: ‘After dinner I’ll catch up with emails. And when I’m lying in bed I think about the next collection. That makes me sound insane, doesn’t it? That I’m getting into bed with David Beckham and thinking about clothes.’
We’re glad you said it. If we shared a bed with Becks, designer frocks would be the last thing on our minds…
