Not even the sight of David and Brooklyn sandwiched on the FROW between fashion forces Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington could distract us from the excitement induced by Victoria Beckham’s SS15 collection. Don’t get us wrong, the clothes were everything we’d wanted (and more), from tailored safari jackets belted at the waist to VB’s first floral prints and even a striped onesie which made for a chic take on #cosygirl. But there was something happening on the models’ feet that made us a bit breathless with excitement.
Not only has Mrs.Beckham been busy designing her two collections and finalizing the details of her first UK store in London, she’s also been hard at work creating her very first shoe collection! OMG.
Having previously worked with the master that is Manolo Blahnik, Victoria decided that this season, she would make the shoesies herself. And boy are we pleased she did. The lady herself explained: ‘I have designed the show shoes under my own name in my London atelier for the first time. Creating all elements of the collection under one roof enabled me to complete and strengthen the silhouette and this has been key in the design journey for me.’
Our hearts beat a little faster when we saw the strappy black platforms with a sliver of fuchsia piping down the sides, not to mention the pointed toe, leopard print flats. But our faves had to be the white, pointed beauties adorned with the same pink abstract petals that made up the printed separates in the final looks.

We’re obsessed. Luckily, we’ve discovered some high street tributes to help you score some style points and channel VB’s spring vibes right now. So put on your platforms, whack on a onesie (in graphic stripes and tailored, obvs) and pour over the pictures until your heart’s content. VB’s scored a fashion home run, and we couldn’t be prouder of our favourite Spice Girl!
