Will You Be Getting A Vampire Boob Job?

If you thought the idea of a vampire facial was weird, just wait until you sink your teeth into this one. Dr. Runels, the man behind the Vampire Face Lift – made famous by none other than Kim Kardashian, obvs – has just revealed an equivalent for your boobs: the Vampire Breast Lift.

Yep, as if the idea of an original boob job isn’t enough to make us squirm, this one blows that right out of the water.

Costing £1200 and taking no more than 15 minutes, the procedure involves the doctor drawing a patients’ blood (from somewhere other than the boobage area), extracting the platelet-rich plasma from it, and then injecting it back into their breasts.

After doing so, patients can expect perkier looking breasts, an enhanced cleavage and heightened sensation in the nipples. Meanwhile, Dr Runels reports that the vampire procedure is more favourable than your typical boob job because it does not cause scars or stretch marks. Scars or no scars, we’re not quite sure this is something we’re eager to try.

On top of the needles, blood and eye-watering price tag, the procedure does not achieve an instant result, but takes roughly two months to kick in and then only lasts for up to one year.

And apparently the jury is out when it comes to how safe the procedure is. Consultant plastic surgeon Miles Berry told the Mail Online:

“I have my reservations about injecting growth factors into a cancer-prone organ. Patients must have a mammogram beforehand and be followed up carefully.”

Dr Runels himself also says the treatment isn’t suitable for everyone. Speaking to the Metro, he said:

“The procedure is not for women who are elderly or younger women with very pendulous breasts.

“But it does do miracles for women who have lost sensation after breast implants, and for women who have still a nice shape, but if the implants are 5-10 years old and there’s some shortage of tissue, there’s not quite the beautiful contour that you’d see without implants in a younger breast.”

What do you think? Will you be trading your push-up bras in for a Vampire Breast Lift?
