With the autumn/winter shows in February a distant memory and the prospect of September’s spring offerings still far away, there’s plenty to inspire you with this week’s couture shows in Paris. Between dresses made of silk, chiffon and some of the most detailed craft out there, we’re already counting down the hours until Atelier Versace this evening.
So what can you expect from Paris? It’s certainly going to be starry. At the Miu Miu cruise show last night we got our first taster of who to expect (Alexa Chung, Léa Seydoux, Gemma Arterton, Uma Thurman and Isla Fisher, anyone?). But if we know anything the FROW is only going to get more glam.
We’re also pretty excited about Chanel. Always a highlight, Karl Lagerfeld has surprised the fash pack season upon season with a Chanel rodeo, a wind turbine farm and most recently that
Chanel supermarket for AW14.
So don your finest threads, brace yourself and get ready to bask in some of the most outlandishly fantastic street style, the best in handmade craftsmanship and the biggest names in fashion and celebrity out there. We’re ready, are you?
