The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012: Battle Of The Black Dresses
Awards season is in full swing Stateside, and last night the Hollywood elite took to the red carpet once again for another biggie, the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012. The dress code? Classic black if attendees Angelina Jolie, Amber Heard, Ashlee Simpson and Emma Stone’s dresses are anything to go buy. The four starlets went head to head in the failsafe shade, and boy was the competition tough!
Angelina and Ashlee both opted for dramatic creations from British fashion designer Jenny Packham, Angelina in a slinky black lame halter gown and Ashlee in a vintage style beaded floor sweeper. Emma Stone got it spot on in a pouffy Alexander McQueen prom dress and signature McQueen knuckle duster clutch, but we’ve got to say, Amber Heard gets our black dress vote after knocking it out of the ball park with a gorgeous cut out Zac Posen gown and quirky quiffed hair.
