The LOOK Show: Two Weeks To Go!
Only two working weeks until The LOOK Show extravaganza and we're styling up fast. The fashion team has split the retailers taking part and mine include Next, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis and Warehouse. I've been so impressed with some of the clothes out there – it’s such a nice, grown-up season and there really is something to suit everyone, from classic camel coats (Oasis's super-streamlined version for only £70 is one of the best anywhere – designers included!) to maxi dresses to leather leggings. Now I just need to make my final adjustments and make sure I've made full use of the best accessories (it’s amazing the difference a hat and pair of shoes can make to an outfit) and haven't missed any key pieces.
We're still casting all our models and seem to have daily go-sees where we look at the girls’ books and get them to show us their 'walks'. Victoria Beckham might tweet that the airport is her runway, but for us its just the corridor at the back of the office. Oh the glamour! Once the models are confirmed we get to the fitting stage, where they try on their outfits to check for fit and we photograph them ready for the big day.
In the meanwhile I'm off to finalise my Warehouse collection – they're coming in to film for their website this afternoon and I need to update my Dorothy Perkins show blog. Busy busy! Zoe Aird
